The Five Pillars of Islam

The five pillars of Islam are the core beliefs that all Muslims believe in. They are:

1)  Belief in one God

2)  Prayer, five times a day
3)  Fasting during the month of Ramadan
4)  Zakat (charity)
5)  Hajj (Pilgrimage to Mecca) during one’s lifetime if one is able to afford it.
